I have had this integral 32gb usb drive for a little over 6 months now. Everything was fine with it until a couple of days ago when i started noticing that random files on it became read only. I dismissed it and simply changed the permissions on the file.
But then files started to become what i think was corrupted im not sure. The names became strings of random black splodges, punctuation and letters.
I formatted it and then was faced with an error saying that my usb required a format to be accessed so i did it and i kept getting to the end of the format and it would say that it failed. So i reinstalled drivers and the problem persisted.
Then i begun to be told that it could not be formatted because it was readonly so i used diskpart to remove the attribute but it still is readonly when i try to clean it in diskpart.
Is there anything i can do from here to fix it?
I'm not bothered about data loss so formatting is an option if i can get it to work.

Also forgot to mention if there is no way to recover it i am also fine with just trashing it. I'm pretty close to that now anyway.
