is it safe to make a custom fan profile on gtx 660 pny version so that when my card reaches 70c the fans reach 60% and when it reaches 80c it reaches 70% does this lower fan life span and is it better to have fans on 70% with 70c or 50% and 80c temps please answer me quickly

You can set up a profile, but for the most part, it is best left on automatic. They should do the job of cooling effectively.

Before your fans die, you will likely replace the entire card. So i would not worry about the fan longevity here. Especially if the noise does not bother you.

This is quite average, you could get better, but also much, much worse. So, as long as you clean it from time to time, nothing to worry about. Start worrying when it gets over 90. Or, if you are really unsatisfied, just keep fans spinning faster.

Ahh ok so realistically it's not the actual fans themselves you need to change, what you really need to change is the airflow/cooling design of your case. You could push the fans higher and higher but if you don't have decent airflow then it won't matter.

80c is actually quite normal, especially if it's for an extended period of time. The card itself will shut down at 105c which isn't happening with your current set up. It will start to throttle anywhere from 75-85c depending on which card you have(reference or aftermarket awesomeness) but that throttle should be negligible to your naked eye.

Again, your best bet is to redesign the inside of your case to increase airflow/cooling. Possibly look at aftermarket case fans or tidying up the cabling if it's getting in the way.

cheers :)
