My problem is pretty known among many users, I have been googling for hours non-stop for a solution but I couldn't find one.
My motherboard is gigabyte ga-g41m-es2l, it has an intel g41 express chipset but I got a new graphics card, AMD r7 240 1GB gddr5.
Before I upgraded to windows vista, I had windows XP running perfectly with my card, running games, the drivers working fine without any problem, but now I am kind of lost in this new system/UI...
I tried installing the drivers the same way I did for XP, using the CD of the card (ofcourse chose windows vista) and yet, it's still not known to the system. I opened the settings for PES 2013 (it can identify the ram/cpu/gpu) it said I have no GPU and no VRAM...
I saw stuff on google like trying to update the driver from windows.old but it was too late... I deleted the old files as I thought I won't need them anymore.
Specs: windows vista home basic SP2 32-bit x86
2GB RAM DDR2 400MHz
Intel core 2 duo E7400 @2.80GHz - not overclocked
AMD R7 240 1GB GDDR5
Note: the driver says failed to start - code 10.
Thanks in advance.
