New Motherboard and New PSU: No POST beeps

Recently my PSU exploded whilst playing Far Cry 3, and so I installed a new 750w PSU. I managed to get all the fans spinning, but I don't hear any POST beeps like I used to, I then replaced my mobile with the one of the exact same model, Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3, and I still can't get it to boot, I have a suspicion its something to do with the adapter connecting the PSU to the wall being too high a voltage, but I'm new to all of this so I've no idea, please help me out here

Both very poor power supplies that shouldn't be used in any build.

Try SEASONIC , XFX , ANTEC , Corsair AX and HX.

I see, is there any you could recommend that aren't too expensive? I'm looking for somewhere around perhaps £30-£35

Thanks very much, although I have another problem. My friend let me borrow a cooler master PSU (RS-500-PCAP-I3) and I had the same problem with the fans but no actual post beeps, any suggestions?

Hard to say because all the power supplies are poor.

Are the CPU and board ok.

Yeah as far as I know, but right now I can't find away to confirm it, considering all the PSUs
