I have purchased a Nvidia GTX 750Ti and attempted to install the new card in my Acer. It has received no other modifications other than this power supply http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_1238_442&item_id=069291 for the new GPU because my previous power supply didn't have enough power. The specs for my PC are listed down below.

MotherBoard: AMD RS880PM-AM
Storage: Western Digital 2TB
Previous GPU: AMD Radeon 7600 series
New GPU: GIGABYTE Nvidia GTX 750Ti
Power Supply: Cooler Master ELITE V2 550w
CPU: AMD FX 8120 8-Core Processor
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

The issue is after installing the new card, the screen boots the Acer logo, gives me the option to access the boot menu or access the BiOS, however neither of the options work. I hear 3 beeps over the course of approximately 20 seconds. After 3 beeps the screen goes blank. Help me please!!!

Could be a DOA card, can you test it in another system. Another possibility is a compatibility issue with Acer's bios. The reason I am suggesting a different PSI is its a risk to the system. Low quality PSU such as yours will fail and when they fail they rarely die alone. What would be better on your budget a better PSU or a new system because the old one was killed by the PSU.

If possible you should really return that PSU for a refund(and get a better one) it is an extremely poor quality unit it's rated as a "Tier five - Replace immediately. These units are NOT recommended for any system, no matter the purpose. Reference to higher tiered models for a better and potentially money-saving unit" http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html
The original 300w Delta that was in the system was better(in terms of build quality).

For the video card problem check for a bios update, some older board require a bios update to work with the newer video cards.

As for your suggestion about my GPU, The BiOS has been updated and there was no change to the outcome. As for the power supply, Intend for no new upgrades for a while and a better PSU is out of my budget.
