is it safe to change a processor of a laptop?

i have 2 laptops , HP and toshiba , i have decided to sell the HP one , and i have removed the processor of both the laptops, i am thinking to put the HP"s processor in the toshiba one , is it safe?

Really depends on what the laptops are and what the processors are. The power system of the toshiba may not be able to power the HP's processor, and the cooling system also may be unable to handle it.

sounds like toshiba is bullshit , here the model no.
toshiba C50-A-P0010, 4 GB ram intel pentium
HP 2000 2116TU (something like that), intel i5 3210K 2GB RAM

If it fits properly and you properly apply the cooling system to it to keep everything a reasonable temperature, no it won't do any harm. The most likely thing to happen is BIOS will not have it on the support list and will fail the boot sequence.

heey , i tried it , it works , but now my intel HD driver says that my system does not minimum requirements , heeeelp , which GFX driver to install now?

The i5 has HD 4000 while the Pentium only has Intel HD, intel should have a graphics driver tool on their site that will autodetect which drivers you need.

if the socket is same with the new cpu and the chipset supports that cpu u are good to go but beware of the temps more powerfull cpu more heat..
