Would my VGA-DVI-I Adaptor and GPU be Compatible with my Computer?

I've been looking around for a suitable GPU for my INSPIRON 3847 (http://www.photopoint.ee/en/product/39049/dell-inspiron-3847-desktop-intel-pentium-g3220-3.00ghz#description) and one of the cards I keep coming upon that has been highly recommended is the GeForce GTX 750Ti (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-750-ti).
To use it though, I need to have the HDMI to DVI-D Adapter (Because my screen uses VGA). I was just wondering whether you could confirm that this adapter would be compatible with... my computer and my new GPU (http://www.amazon.com/CablesToBuy-DVI-D-Male-Female-Adapter/dp/B001CHQ52W/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_y)

The INSPIRON 3847 info is:
Intel Pentium G3220 @ 3.00GHz
300W Power Source
PCIe Slot
VGA/HDMI Port
Processor Series
64-bit Operating System
Hard Drive Size - 1 TB
Installed Memory - 8 GB

GeForce GTX 750Ti Graphics Card:
Minimum Power Source - 300W
Bus Support - PCI-Express 3.0

Would it also be possible to confirm whether the GeForce 750Ti would be compatible with the INSPIRON 3847?
