Hello there,

I was wandering if an i3 4130 3.4 Ghz will bottleneck a GTX 770 2GB, if it does, how bad can it be? Would it be better if I just go with the GTX 760?

I'm planning to use a Gigabyte GA H87M D3H MoBo and 2x4GB 1600mhz sticks of RAM (corsair vengeance).

Going from an i3 to an i5 would result in anywhere from %5-10 more FPS in games that aren't CPU dependant. In games that are, you would notice steady increases all the way up to the hex core I7's.

Short answer , no it will not bottleneck enough to notice without an FPS monitoring utility on the screen .
