In more gpu heavy games, I'd say no.

In more cpu intensive games, probably.

Overall, it should be alright, but there will probably be a bit of a bottleneck I'd imagine. Someone else can probably put their insight.

no it will be fine for gaming. Even if you don't overclock it it should be fine. even something like watchdogs it wouldn't matter. you will however see little to no performance increase going with 2 780s over 1 though.

No bottleneck at all as it is a strong quad-core CPU.

Some games might be cpu limited.
You can overcome that to some extent with overclocking.

It really is a moot point. At this time, there is simply no cpu available that is significantly more effective.
