The GTX 760s are budget GPUs, so if you're willing to spend $1000 on four of them (by which only 3-way is supported), you'd be better off getting a pair of GTX 780s, a pair of R9 290Xs, or (for a couple hundred dollars more) a pair of GTX 780 Tis.

Or one titan black. Best option
 
No a titan black is by far not the best option. It is simply a 780Ti with double the vram saddled on it. For gaming, you will get no benefit from it compared to the 780Ti. It is aimed at professional/high resolution work.
SLI 780s/780Tis will put perform the titan black easily.

i wasn't trying to challenge anyone I was just joking around about the titan black. I just thought that since his budget was $1000, why doesn't he get a $1000 card. Even i know that two 780's are better than one titan black. But nothing can beat the amount of VRAM it has
