will i need a bios update for this motherboard

Intel Core i7 4770K with MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Please Im a newbie I dont know if ill have to update the bios was hoping to stay away from fiddling with the bios but if it is necessary what will have to be done.

No, you wont have to do anything to the bios, those components are compatible out of the box.

The Z87 was made to work with the first gen. Haswell cpu like the i7 4770k. The i74790k needs the Z97 mobo, but Z97 mobo also work with the 4770K.
