I want to be able to do a bit of gaming on at least high, 1080p, and for quick general use. I was going to go with an i3-4360 with a gtx 750ti, but since my budget is £600 i went for the i5 and the 760. But is the the money worth it?

I use a 3570k and it's as fast as my friend's newer i5. Same performance when it comes to games and you can get the 3770k later on when you upgrade in a few years. This build gets the R9 280 and gives you an aftermarket cooler for your CPU because the Intel one is pretty lackluster.
