Hey guys, this is my very first attempt at building a PC, so be gentle. I did some searching and found this template, hopefully it helps. Also, any purchases will have to be through online retailers as I live in the middle of nowhere. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks!

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week (the closer the better) July

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) Before / After Rebates; Before / After Shipping 750 after rebates and before shipping is fine.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (e.g.: Folding@Home, gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies) Mainly it just has two purposes. Gaming, and office related things (office, browsing, excel, etc.)

Are you buying a monitor: Yes / No No.

Parts to Upgrade: (e.g.: CPU, mobo, RAM) **Include Power Supply Make & Model If Re-using** Complete system. Don't need monitor, keyboard/mouse, or OS/software.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes / No No.
Please note that if you're using an OEM license of Windows, you will need a new one when buying a new motherboard.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (e.g.: newegg.com, ncix.com -- to show us selection & pricing)I have had good experiences with newegg in the past for part replacement, but I am open to other online retailers.

Location: City, State/Region, Country - we need to know where these parts are being assembled and whether there are good store-only deals available. West Wendover, NV.

Parts Preferences: by brand or type (e.g.: I would like to upgrade to Intel CPU) No preference, don't know enough about PCs to have one.

Overclocking: Yes / No / Maybe Not likely.

SLI or Crossfire: Yes / No / Maybe Again, not likely.

Your Monitor Resolution: (e.g.: 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1600x1200, 1680x1050, 1920x1080, 1920x1200 or if you're upgrading please state what you'd want to get) Currently it's an old monitor, I intend to upgrade it later but on the off chance it can fit in the budget, I'm up for upgrading it with this purchase. (Sadly, no idea what resolution it is. Sorry guys.)

Additional Comments: (e.g.: Need to have a window and lots of bling, I would like a quiet PC. Please also list specific software or games you're using) It doesn't have to be top of the line, but I would like it to be able to handle most current PC games.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: (e.g. I'm having trouble running game X or my PSU broke) My computer is about a thousand years old, and I get a bonus check next month. It's time.

Include a list of any parts you have already selected with descriptively labeled links for parts. Please do not post only links. N/A

Thanks again guys, please let me know if there is anything else you need from me. Again, I appreciate the help!
