Computer won't turn on. No Beeps. No Fans.

I recently upgraded my cpu and motherboard and now I have this setup:

i7-4790k (newly added)
asus z97-a (newly added)
gtx 770
cx750-m
4x4 gb gskill ripjaws

When I first assembled everything and booted up, everything worked fine. But the next morning, when I turned it on and then put it to sleep, I noticed that the computer had gone to sleep but the fans were still running. So I tried holding the power button to hard reset and that didn't work. So I ended switching the power off via the psu. And when I tried turning it back on, it wouldn't start, no beeps, no fans. I didn't have time to look into it then and went to work. But when I came back from work to start it up, the computer started up just fine and everything was working.

Then 3 days later, when I went to shut down my computer, the same thing. The computer had essentially shut down, but the fans were still running. So I ended up turning it off via the psu again. And now it won't start up again. When I hit the power button on the case or the power button on the mobo, nothing happens, no beeps,no extra lights, no fans.

The power light on the mobo is on indicating that it is receiving power from the psu. And I've tried reseating all the ram, graphics card and all the connections but nothing.

I haven't waited a whole day to see if it will turn on again but are there any ideas as to what my problem is or any solutions?

Not resetting the BIOS, updating it.

Also verify that the CPU heatsink is in-tact and has direct contact with the CPU. When you exchanged CPUs, you did clean the old thermal paste and re-apply new thermal paste right?

It won't boot up so the jumper connector method won't work in resetting the BIOS and I've removed the battery and unplugged it for 15 minutes to try and reset the BIOS that way and that also didn't work.

How do I update the BIOS when the computer won't boot up, also the heatsink is working properly since it was working for a few days (I monitored the temps), and I did clean and reapply new thermal paste.

In addition, after a few hours, my computer started up again like nothing happened (exit the BIOS restarted, but I did that). So in the end I don't know what it is.

Well the problem came up again. I've tested the psu on another computer and it works. So I'm pretty sure that the problem is the mobo. I've contacted asus and am awaiting their reply.

Yeah, I've already tried booting it up with only the cpu and one stick of ram but still nothing.
