This build is for streaming / playing video games. I am working with a $550 budget and would like to know if there is anywhere in this build that I can go cheaper/improve upon? To give you an idea of what games I will be playing/streaming here are a few: Minecraft, LoL, Hearthstone, maybe WoW.

Streaming software being used: OBS

Here is my build so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KwQmFT

If you can wait to get more money, I'd recommend you do so. You can go with a build like tiny voices suggested or even better. I kept the build within your budget but I would still recommend spending a little more on a better psu. The evga 500w I listed is ok, it will power your rig and that's about it.

Alright I am going with tiny voices. One last question, right now currently I have an all-in-one PC with Intel HD Graphics. I was wondering how my current computer would compare with the build suggested by tiny voices, in terms of performance?
