What's the difference between Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB HDD and Western Digital 500GB Re4 Enterprise and which one is better ?

Hi - Generally - enterprise models are mfg to be an upgrade in quality/durability over the
consumer grade hdd's and thus are more costly. Given the choice if I were going to purch
a spin type hdd I would buy an enterprise version. If you want to compare the WD enterprise
to the Seagate counterpart, you need to look at the Seagate Constellation series not the Barracuda.

I have a Seagate Constellation as 1 of my 2 internal hdd's.
