Hello fellow human beings..

I have an fx 8320 which maintained a socket temp of exactly 27 when idle.. which is good for me as I am not using a high end cooler..

However I just purchased a new keyboard and mouse.. ( Roccat Isku fx / Roccat kone pure )

and now it wont idle below 33.. It just sits at exactly 33 degrees ( cpu socket )

Before I got these I was using a normal keyboard and mouse nothing special about them..

And yes I've tried my old combo and temps dropped to a steady 27 degrees..

Sooo.. is this possible or is there something wrong with the new combo ?

Probably the new ones require more power and this causes the USB controller to work harder and warm up. No big deal.

33c is very good idle for an 8320. As long as your load temps are fine, I see no issue.
