Hi everyone, I'm a complete noob when it comes to pc parts. I have this A8 apu with integrated Radeon 8570d graphics card. I don't have the pc with me right now so I have to ask, can I remove that card and replace with a newer card? I remember someone said you can't remove anything in Amd apu.

Sorry, I remember nothing is removable. My question is can I buy a new graphic card and put it in there? I don't know how it works though. Is there enough space or another slot for new graphics card?

It's an ASUS desktop I don't know model number or what brands they use sorry. I'm gonna buy R7 250 and a 600w psu. If it is possible to put them on the motherboard ofc.

I think psu on board is 300w and not possible to remove.

I've just found youtube videos where people explain how to crossfire etc. Do you think higher model cards will work with A8-6500 ? There is a website that says almost all of the cards are compatible: http://www.pc-specs.com/cpu/AMD/APU_Family/APU_A8-6600K/1248/Compatible_GPUs

If so, I might buy R9 270

Ok, I've learned how to crossfire but is it possible to just use the new discrete card and turn off the integrated card? I wanna use the new card alone, without crossfiring. Maybe some setting in the bios to turn off?

Thanks for all the answers. I can't change my apu because I have this computer already for a few years. I was gonna buy a new gaming pc but I've learned about the crossfire stuff and I'm very excited lol :D I think a R9 270 will work just fine. Probably not as good as with better CPU's but still...
