Hey guys, I have been wondering for a while now "is buying a second R9 270 worth it?"
I already have one sapphire R9 270 and I don't want to spend 300-400 more dollars on a different card if I already have this one, but on the other hand i have read that going Xfire can cause some issues... such as micro-stuttering, freezing, and even down right incompatibility! (that info was a little aged though) so is it worth it NOW?

SYSTEM SPECS
FX-4350 4.3 GHZ
8 GB RAM
SAPPHIRE R9 270 OC'ed
650w PSU

Yeah i tried crossfireing my 7850's it was a horrible idea. I would of rather had a $400 card. instead of 2 200's. Dont. Just save your money for better cards.

Easiest answer is no, it is not worth it. Crossfire\SLI is fun in theory but you will generally have a smoother experience with a single card solution. Save up, put the 270 on ebay and get a nice factory overclocked R9280x or 290 with a nice aftermarket cooler or something along those lines.

Thank you for all of the answers/opinions. I will probably just wait and upgrade to a single card solution. XD

Thank you
