I'm about to order the rest of my girl's components. She already has the mobo, cpu, gpu, and case. I was wondering what PSU I should pick for under $60? Only thing is, it has to be from amazon, since she is using her amazon card to get it. She plans to overclock, but she games in short bursts then shuts her pc down. Thanks in advance.

Too bad the CX series uses cheap secondary capacitors that shorten the PSUs life expectancy.

When you are buying on price you would always expect compromises . But having said that the Corsair will last the life of the computer easily enough , and deserves a recommendation

I used 5 CX psus 4 of them failed in the first year. The 5th might have lasted longer but I replaced it as a proactive measure.
