Anyone here of the Asus z97 AR motherboard? I bought it at microcenter because it was on sale but now I can't find anything about it online.

I am assuming that it is a fairly new model as it came out with the other Z97 motherboards that had gotten released. If ASUS still has a page for it up it means that their is not a newer model for that one...weird newegg doesn't have it tho...

Quoted from Linus Tips:

AR series is a strictly business oriented motherboard, you will not find it in many consumer oriented retail shops or websites. Wait for at least 4 weeks to hit American retail stores.

Good luck finding it other then at micro-centers. Newegg doesn't carry it but Amazon does...business rating motherboards I would assume are more for productivity vs. gaming. I would recommend the following:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($143.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $143.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Information Link

It has a gaming mode where it focuses all of your cpu and gpu power into gaming. It is one I would personally recommend as I've used it.

Don't get me wrong if you've ordered it keep it. Both are excellent motherboards for whatever you are doing. :)
