you do not need a 600W UPS for a 600W PSU. since no system should be running at 100% load of their PSU anyway. assuming you're running your system around 50-60% of the PSU capacity, I think a 450W or 500W ups should be fine

And I am thinking of cancelling my cm thunder and getting a cx 600 what do you think is good for a r9 270x.
