Best $650 balanced gaming PC.

Hi! I will be helping a friend build his first gaming PC and I was wondering what you guys think about what I have put together so far. My main concerns are if the CPU cooler is too powerful for the i3 (overkill). And if the 750 Ti will be able to fluently play modern games on low-mid settings.
Many of you will say to upgrade to a 270 or 270x but I think that he would rather an Nvidia. Thank you very much for your time.

Solution
Your build is already pretty good
Not liking Nvidia right now because there is a large gap in performance between the 750ti and 760
I really do reccomend the 270 or 270x as they are nearly the same price as the 750ti but offer more performance

AMD FX6300 build
Intel version would be to swap out to i3 and a H81/H97 board

i3 with H97 again can swap for FX6300
Paired with a R9 270

Solution

Awesome! Thanks for the help stick! I really like the looks of the second build! :) I think he will wait for a 270 or 270x to go on sale.
