I am trying to move my DWL 122 wireless dongle to a new computer. I do not have the installation CD so I have tried downloading the driver from D-Link and then moving it to the other computer on a flash drive. It will install on the new computer but it doesn't see the wireless connection even after install. Any suggestions on how to get it to install on a Windows 7 pc? Thanks.

I just looked at that device, its probably won't work as the manual states :"Windows XP/2000/Me/98SE". Drivers may not work with 7.

Just get a more current USB WiFi device, they are very cheap.

I am installing revision A from the D-Link website. I reinstalled it today by downloading it to a working computer and then transferring it to the new computer with a thumb drive. It went through the whole installation process and had me restart the computer. After restarting, as soon as the computer is restarted I get the error: "AirCFG.exe - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point apsSearchInterface could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapii.dll" When I plug the wireless adapter in the computer does not see it and it does not show that it has been installed. I installed the latest driver: Version 3.2.1.40525. I did not get any errors while running the install procedure. I am installing on a HP computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Any suggestions on whether it is the wrong driver or something that I am not doing? Thanks.
