So i want to run BF4 on my HP probook 6550b with an i5 520M and an intel HD2000 iGPU. I know that it will only run at 4-5 FPS if im lucky, That doesn't matter since i run it to seed a server. (Which means you're idling in-game)

Now i keep getting this error when i try to launch the game: Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements for playing this game. Intel HD Graphics GPU does not support directx 10.
However, when i check dxdiag, it says i'm using dx11? This is happening in windows 7.

I tried installing windows 8, no luck. BF4 does launch in 8 but directly after it finishes loading the map it would crash with the error "dxgi_error_device_removed" and sometimes a create buffer error. Unigine Valley ran fine in both OS's with dx11 enabled. i used the same HP intel graphics drivers (non-generic) in both windows 7 an 8.

A solution would be greatly appreciated as I've been troubleshooting for 3 days now. Thanks in advance :)

DxDiag, as for all I know, tells you the currently installed DirectX version, and not the maximum supported version of your video card. (If I'm mistaken, someone correct me :p)
However, the HD2000 supports up to Dx10. I don't know the details, but should BF4 use very specific functions available only to Dx10.1 and not its former release, then your card will appear as not compatible.

I'm not sure about the fact that W8 at least launches while W7 just crashes, but I'd point my finger at what I stated above about your issue...
