My friend has :
MOTHERBOARD Intel DH55HC
CPU Intel Core i5
Ram 8 GB - Hard 2 TB
AMD Radeon 4350 1 GB
OS Microsoft Windows 7 64-Bit Ultimate
When we open his computer, we press F10 to enter the bios. It askes for a password so we enter it but all setting are completely GREYED OUT. What is the solution ??
Note : Ctrl + F1 doesn't do anything.
Also, I think updating the bios has nothing to do with that, so I expect another answers.

So , all of this because of you or someone set Supervisor password ( sometimes it is called '' Master Password '' ) , I had this problem for 2 years , then nowadays I solved it , all settings were grayed out and now all of them is available. When you enter to the BIOS it will ask from you password ( or , just set user password ) , you have to press alt+r to get rescue date and enter rescue password , IN ORDER TO CLEAR SUPERVISOR PASSWORD.I Did it on my ASUS Laptop. You can WATCH this
