Hi, so I was just having a look at my motherboard and just checking where all the parts would go and I heard a loud bang which made me jump and the back bit of the motherboard (the part what is screwed onto the case) fell on my lap and I was wearing a tracksuit so I was wondering if it may of had any static damage, so should I send it back or do you think it will be fine? I haven't tested it yet as I haven't received all my PC parts but is it worth waiting to test it or should I just send it back now?

No reason to send it back because if it got damaged by ESD (electro static discharge) the manufacturer won't help you since you caused it.

I have a 2 year warranty and they cover anything that happens to the products. But I just want to know if it might of got a static shock or not?
