Hello everyone,

A few months ago I noticed that my 280X is underperforming compared to other 280X's in the same applications.

3DMark 11 is giving me really low scores (around 3000), and the other 3DMark isn't really much either: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/3479339
It's showing that I have a 7970, but it is in fact a Gigabyte 280X.

In games it's really noticable. Tomb Raider, Farcry 3, and Watch Dogs run really really badly.

I have updated my BIOS, checked my overclock settings, changed my northbridge frequency, reset my overclock settings and reapplied them again, updated my video driver from 14.4 to 14.6, game patches, and so forth. But I can't seem to get more out of the card, when I should be able to.
Temperatures are fine. No thermal throttling whatsoever.

Here are my system specs:

ASRock 970 Extreme3,

AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 4.0Ghz, bus @ 200MHz, and northbridge on 2400MHz,

Kingston HyperX 8 GB DDR3-1600 (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX)

Gigabyte 280X (GV-R928XOC-3GD Rev 2.0) @ 1100/1500 (stock)

Could there be a bottleneck somewhere?

Thanks for any help in advance.
