I know there are a lot of people asking this but I didn't manage to find the answer I needed. I have windows 8 and I want to install it on my computer but first I want to completely wipe it...
I know you can format your HDD through the windows CD but that's not what I'm talking about, I'm talking about deleting every single file of the HDD putting it back to factory state and then install windows on it.
A friend of mine did it a couple of years ago and all I remember is, it was through a bootable CD and it took a LOT of time to wipe the HDD completely (6-7 hours)
Does anyone know any kind of software like this that wipes the HDD completely?
