I'm on the verge of self inflicting scars.
My Athlon 750k throttles even tough cpu temp is never above 53c, I disabled all power saving related options in the bios, in windows , updates my bios , and still no improvement, as soon as I run a stress test for over a minute , multipliers start dropping to 14 (from 40!).
I'm using the f2a88x-ds3 mb.
4gb hyperx blu x1
And a 620w seasonic psu.

Thanks for anyone who helps

Solution
I would try adding fans - one more front intake, one side intake, and an extra exhaust - that will give you positive air pressure in your case

Then see if you can add fans to your CPU cooler, and make sure they're blowing towards your exhaust fan

The idea is to get heat away from yo mobo as quickly as possible
