I have the phantek 140 mm ones and I really like them but I am new to fans so I am not too picky, but the reviews on the Phanteks CPU cooler which uses similar fans got good reviews.

I use the 6/32 fan screws that were included with cougar cases and I bought some 6/32 nuts so I am not sure about their performance if they are installed with the included fan screws.

I get about 6-8 degree difference with it on and off. I personally don't like the cover off as it ruins the look and I wouldn't recommend the case. you need some Noctua NF-F12's or SP120's in the front if you want to move a lot of air but keep the front panel off. and no, don't worry about the color as they are hidden in the 750D. http://www.amazon.com/Noctua-NF-F12-PWM-Cooling-Fan/dp/B00650P2ZC . I reccomend these over the SP120 quiet editions because they move more air.

The front intake without the panel is ok. I am just curious why you want to replace the stock fans with the AF140's as they have the same blades and RPM. Is it for looks?
