Hi, I am looking to upgrade RAM in my Laptop. Please see specification. Kindly suggest max supported RAM with max freq.

Here is the spec: model: LG G1333YA2 BIOS Date: 4/10/2006
CPU: Intel Pentium M 1.76 GHZ
details from CPU Z :
core speed: 598 MHZ
Memory: type DDR2
DRAM freq. 99.8 MHZ
SPD:
RAM(exisiting) 256MB
Max Bandwidth: PC2-4300(266MHz)
What could be the max. RAM supported on this? Can RAM 1GB 256 MHz be compatible here ? Thanks in advance Thanks

your wasting your time asking for "max freq poss".. just get more mem and go cheap
on that system you will never notice the difference anyway..
Just go crucial.com.. put in your mobo and go with what they recommend/guarantee will work
just remember - if you got a 32bit OS you cant use more than 4GB of mem.

Hi, tried with crucial.com .but since system is an old one it failed to get the details.system is not 32 bit .windows XP runs perfectly fine..likes to play movie now since got connected to high speed broadband.that's why want to increase memory .anymore suggestions .if I choose Ram 1GB 256 MHz will it be compatible in my system with the given configuration? That's what I want to know please. Thanks in advance .
