hello guys,

I've been searching all the time for case fans and at the end just gave up

3v,5v, 7v, 12v and those pwm fan controller stuff, fan controller on motherboard, I don't really understand this all.

I only want to have a quiet system with some quiet case fans (preferably with blue LED)

my system is:

I read about the pwm fan controller 4 pin thing, it can control only up to 4 fans, so I need 4 fans to keep my system quiet and have some airflow inside the case, right, and if so where should I place them to have the most optimal airflow?

I don't even know what I'm talking about just help me and make me stop making a fool of myself :x

""3v,5v, 7v, 12v and those pwm fan controller stuff, fan controller on motherboard, I don't really understand this all."" It is only important in the sense that you don't buy more 4 pin fans than you have mobo or fan controller connections for them. The same goes for 3 pin fans.

There isn't really a reason to add more fans in general unless if you are running 2 video cards. These are the fans that I have used that would meet your criteria but I don't have the ones with the LEDs: Phanteks PH-F140SP. www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709023

I am just going over the details. I don't have much personal experience with case fans so it will be a good idea to ask other people who have had personal experience with the fans for...

There is no need buy another fan for the front or the rear. The main ones to shop for are 'Top' Exhaust and the 'Interior' Fan.

Top: 2x200mm/ 140mm or 3x120mm
Interior: 1x120mm/140mm

Look at Corsair, Phanteks, NZXT and Antec fans. Don't use rifle bearings fans and sleeve bearings fans for horizontal mounted fans such as the Top Exhaust.

The following information is from http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/134-phantom-530.html:
Front 1 x 200mm included
Rear 1x140mm included
Bottom 2x120mm - no reason to get bottom ones
Side 1x140mm - side ones tend to be a hassle to plug in
Top 2x200mm/ 140mm or 3x120mm
Interior 1x120mm/140mm

There are also fan connections on your motherboard.

Solution
Hot air naturally rises and cool air naturally sinks (due to pressure and density differences). That means fans near the top of your case should push air out, and fans near the bottom of your case should pull air in, for the most efficient cooling. Usually larger fans are quieter and more effective than smaller fans.

You don't necessarily *need* 4 fans. Plenty of people use just 2-3. I happen to have 5 in my case though. :3

As for choosing fans... Sorry. I don't think I can help with that.

Relax.

Is the stock fans really that loud?

I guess to keep things simple is to buy a silent fan and just connect it to a power source.
Have a fan in front to pull air in and one at the back to push air out.
If you're not satisfied with the temps then that's the time to add more fans.
