I'm almost at the point of ordering my cpu and motherboard but having very little experience of assembling pcs I just want to make sure the following are compatible and a good choice for an office pc (running Ubuntu). I'm having to spend a little more than I wanted but hoping to get some future proofing by doing so:
motherboard: GIGABYTE Z97M-D3H Intel LGA1150 Z97 Micro-ATX
CPU: Intel Core i3 4130 Dual Core CPU Retail (Socket 1150, 3.4GHz, 3MB, 54W, Extended Memory 64 Technology, Execute Disable Bit)
Would welcome any feedback or alternative suggestions. Thanks in advance.
