5850 power consumption

Hello.
My current setup is :
AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor step c3 3000 Mhz, ( overclock to 3.7 + 0.5volt)
4Gb Corsair 1333 ram
1 WD caviar sata hard drive
Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 460W (120mm fan)


can i run the sapphire 5850 card safely? maybe +little overclock perhaps for gpu?

A Radeon HD 5850 needs between 35-40 amps on the 12v rail and a 500 watt power supply.

The Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 460W , only has 2 - 18 amp 12v rails and isn't sufficient to run a HD5850.

I understand.. Should i downclock my cpu a bit or perhaps do something else..? What do you think.

i would downclock everything to normal, like the other guy said, that isnt a good powersupply
