According to Gigabyte, the weight limit for the cpu cooler is 450 grams. This seems to eliminate the Noctua coolers. Is this a conservative limit, or a hardline limit?

Solution
That is not good marketing for their products, considering that high end GPUs weight 1 kilo or more. High performance coolers weight around 1000+ grams as well. With their "Ultra durable" branding, their PCB should endure the weight of a big heatsink and only break if you are swinging the thing around (Never ship computers with GPU or big heatsinks attached)
Then again, I wouldnt ever use a Gigabyte mobo when there are better options.
