Hi all,

I am currently getting ready to order my new custom build PC from cyberpowersystem, and I am still tossing up between the above two GPU's in title. They are both the same price on the website (I might still order the PC but get the GPU off ebay slightly cheaper) but I just can't decide between the two. I am getting a standard H81 mobo anyway, and am not planning to crossfire or SLI, so am just wondering if anyone can point me to which is the better card, and why? I'm getting the Core i5 4590k if that makes any difference to which GPU to choose.

If anyone has a better idea for a superior card than the two I'm looking at, I'd love to hear those suggestions too. My budget is £180 max for the card, so please fire away with your suggestions!!!

Thanks guys, I appreciate your time and expertise!!

the r9 280x is equivalent to the gtx770 practically. The 4gb 760 is a bit of a waste unless you're running something with high textures and what not, and even then the r9 280x would do it just as well or better.

The R9 280X is equal to the GTX 770; It's easily stronger than the GTX 760. The 760 is not powerful enough to utilize 4GB of VRAM unless you SLI, so the extra VRAM doesn't really help at all since you won't be doing SLI.
