Hi all, and thanks in advance for all those who took the time for this. So I am very new to overclocking so if I sound dumb that will be the reason! :pt1cable:

My graphics card is an EVGA SC GTX 770 and still less than even a week old. I decided to up the clocks a bit using the EVGA Presicion X program that came with it. So for some reason I immediately decide to put the memory clock to +500 (what was I thinking). The screen suddenly had red checkerboard-like squares over it then the video driver crashed and recovered, I quickly took the +500 off and the red squares went away. Those are called artifacts right? At the time I also had the gpu clock on +60 and I didnt overvolt anything. Could I have possibly caused damage to my video card? I've been stressing a bit over this a would like to know. Again, greatly appreciated and thanks for any help/answers in advance.

No worries mate :)  newcomers always "break" their video cards. Why "break", you didn't actually break anything, you just pushed it a bit too far in one go and caused it to reset. Nothings broken, it's just how overclocking works. Even if it did break, EVGA will gladly give you a new GPU.
