Asus VX279Q vs Asus MX279H (For console gaming)

So I put my eyes on these 2 monitors and I have a PS4 so I wanted to know which one I should buy and which one has better colors, input lag and response time.

I'd go with the VX279Q http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DBVPOZG just because I like the black color, it's a bit cheaper, and it's a newer model. It really won't make much of a difference which one you get. Just go with whichever color you like most.

A TV would be the same price but you'd get a bigger screen.

You have to understand that the PS4 is going to be locked at 30-60 FP, while those monitors COULD go much higher attached a real computer.

A TV will also have much better sound than monitor.

But a tv will have worse response time and input lag which will affect gaming badly am I wrong?

Both of those screens have a refresh frequency of 60Hz analog and up to 75Hz digital, both have 5ms of latency.
Depending on the tv, some can have up to 100Hz or more in screen refresh but higher input latency of 8ms+ depending on the type of screen.
For the money either of these monitors cost, I highly doubt you can get a TV with better specs.

Depends on how much are you going to spend in one, then I can narrow the search to fewer models.
