A version or two ago, the font in the Chrome address bar shrank. I can no longer read it (yes I do have vision problems), but the fonts on the web pages themselves are large enough for me. How do I increase the font size, and even change the font (to, say, Arial Narrow Bold) in the address bar only?

I'm running WinXP, sp3 on a Toshiba Satellite P25-S509 laptop and using Chrome 35.0.1916. My system dpi is set to 149, and my screen resolution is at its default of 1440x900.

It's linked to the size of the display font you've set in Windows, Chrome's address-bar font size will be a couple of points above that.

My display font is large--I have the system dpi set to 149--but the addressbar font is still tiny. There had been something under chrome://flags that allowed me to tell Chrome to use my system font dpi, but 1) it's no longer available and 2) it messed up everything else in the Chrome display. Other than the address bar, I have Chrome optimized so I can see it.

And I do use Windows Magnifier or ZoomText when needed, but only if I can't change settings to get what I want.
