Hello everyone!

this summer I'm planning to upgrade my system. Right now I'm running a HP compaq pro 6300 MT. It has a Intel core i5 3470, 4gb RAM, SSD(boot) + HDD and a hd 6450. The parts i plan on upgrading are the RAM, motherboard, Case and GPU.
The motherboard I'm upgrading to: ASUS P8H77-V LE
RAM I'm upgrading to: Kingston HyperX FURY Blue 8GB (2x4gb)
I'm not sure wich case I'm upgrading to.
the GPU I'm upgrading to will be either a R9 270 or R7 265 from Sapphire.

I recently heard that when you swam motherboards you might have to re-install Windows, when the bios is a different type or something. Should I be worried about this? I really don't have the money to buy another copy of windows.

(forgot to say that I'm going to upgrade psu too)
i know i dont have to upgrade the motherboard. but the problem is that the case is too small for allmost any gpu. and the motherboard has a BTX formfactor so it doesn't fit in any other case

You're actually supposed to buy a new Windows key when you change the motherboard. You can try booting into windows from your old hard drive though. That works for some people.
