The answer to my question might me a hundred times on this page, but as a technology illiterate i cant make sence of it. Ok my problem is that i installed a wireless camera outside about 75 feet away. When the garage doors are open it works fine, as soon as we close them we loose signal. My house is completely cement and aluminum rolling doors. What can i buy to extend that signal outside? Please explain in basic words that i might just go to the store and ask for and connect.
Thank you for your patience with your less technological followers! :)

You will need to open up a hole or stick an antenna though the building the camera is in. It's not an issue with extending the range, it's more of an issue with the building blocking the signal. Maybe a directional antenna on the WiFi router pointed at the WiFi Camera may work to punch though the interference of the door, but it may not. This site has some examples you can look at and also learn about WiFi signals in general http://www.radiolabs.com/products/wireless/directional-wireless-antenna.php

75 feet is not far for a WiFi signal that is not interfered with by environment.
