I am looking to upgrade my CPU to the i5 4670k and want to get a good budget Mobo and ram and need suggestions. I would like to color coordinate with the r9 280x toxic, but if that cuts into performance than ignore that.

My Current PC Specs.
CPU I5-3570k (going to upgrade to i5 4670k)
MOBO GA-B75M-D3H (going to upgrade)
RAM 2x4gb ddr3 1333 (going to upgrade)
GPU R9 280x 3gb TOXIC
HDD 1 TB 7200 RPM Western Digital
Dvd/CD LG GH24NS90
Cooler Master V850 watt 80 plus gold

I have never OC but I would like to in the future and my budget is around 150 for mobo and not sure for the ram. Thank you all for the help.

for the motherboard this (my personal favourite because of its amazing onboard audio) http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97gaming5 ...or this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z97extr... for its awesome features
as for the colour-matching this is awesome http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z97a
this for the ram http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f32133c9d8gx... ...for colour matching ram this is the closest i could find http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f32133c11d8g... howeve this has a CAS of 11 compared to the previous ones 9

performance-wise there really isnt much of a difference between all three. My personal favourite is the MSI Z97 Gaming 5, due to its amazing onboard audio (and killer looks, i love the 'gaming' dragon logo) however the Asus Z97-A is also an amazing board with amazing audio. The Asus is more overclocking-friendly. It really depends on which one you like the best in looks.
All three have a similar number of chassis fan connectors and other connectivity features as well, like M.2 and Sata express. The Asus definitely has the best bios in terms of its ease of use.

I suggest msi z97 gaming 5 or asus z97-A, too.
First:I think this two brands are great. There service is much better than others.
Second:This two boards I didn’t hear any disasters. So I think it is ok.
Anyway, it’s just a suggest. But I prefer msi z97 gaming 5,too.
Haha, dradon logo is really cool.
Gooooooood choose!lol
