I have a Dell E6400 laptop i'm trying to hook it up to a Samsung TV. Output is through display port with and an active adapter to HDMI (the only type of input the TV has). OS is Window 7 Home Premium. Intel Media Graphics 4 Series Express chipset
GMA 4500MHD. The laptop detects the TV as a "Digital Display MS_0001" max selectable resolution is 1280X800 AND THE TEXT IS huge! any ideas on how to set it up? thanks

Laptop manual says nothing about it. I have searched and searched for anything like drivers for a LCD tv and don;t get anything. Everytime I plug it up device manager installs a "Generic PnP" and a "Generic Non PnP" monitor with highest resolution of 1280 x 800 and everything else grayed out. I have the latest video drivers from Dell for my Intel GM4500MHD integrated video card. Are you saying there are drivers on the Samsung site for the TV? thanks.
