AMD FX 8350 vs I5 4670K

Solution

Not really, as the 8350 has 8 threads, but can only do 4 floating point calculations, same as the 4670k. Plus, Intel cores are around twice as strong as AMD cores anyway.

AMD combines two integer cores into one module, so each module has two threads (one from each core) but only one floating point... calculator thingy.

Intel i5 cores each have one thread and one Floating point thingy. And again, twice as powerful cores.

Yes, i5 is more performant and polyvalent then the FX, I just had read that FX is more performant in some situations (like with Blender) I miss where but my choice have been maked along time ago is I5, thanks.
