Im looking at getting this motherboard

it supports DDR3 3000 and 2800, I have x2 (4 GB sticks) that are 1333 i dont think that theyll work because of the number difference but then again i dont know much about Ram

If the Ram isnt support could i get some help picking a decent motherboard that supports DDR3 1333 Ram for gaming that also supports i5 processor?

More about : ddr3 1333 work motherboard supports ddr3 3000 2800

Go to the manufacturer website, 1333 is supported.
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z97_GAMING_3.html#hero-sp...

which i5 do you have? check the cpu supported list too.

That's because most people don't touch the 1333 anymore, MSI wouldn't have it on the site if it wasn't true.
