Need help picking a new CPU HELP

Hi there everyone, thanks for the help, cheers.

Anyway here is my specs:

*MOBO: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970DE3U3S3/

Ram: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/16gb-(4x4gb)-corsair-vengeance-blue-ddr3-pc3-12800-(1600)-unbuffered-cas-9-9-9-24-xmp-150v

PSU: 750 80+

CPU Cooler: 212 EVO

I need a new amd eight core and i have about £150 to spend, thanks!

If you havent bought that motherboard yet then I suggest you change to a better board . Despite the name it uses a two generation old 770 chipset .

Pay for the 970 Extreme3 instead , or even the 970 Pro3
. Both are much better with FX processors .

You cant run any 8 core on the board you have listed . The spec says FX processors to 95 watt . Thats an FX 6300 with no overclocking .
It also says CPU's to 140 watts but that is phenoms only

but as I have said its not a good board. if it is new then send it back
