Hi!
I sure hope someone can help me out as I've tried many things so far and have yet to find a permanent solution.
Briefly, my problem comes from crashes occurring while playing Batman Origins on my PC. I bought the game from Steam a few months ago.
I've join bellow the error provided in the Event Viewer.
I also get this error from time to time :
"Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
All my windows and driver update have been done. (AMD Catalyst driver (14.4))
I tested many other games and got crashes from Saint Row IV as well. While debuging that one, I've tried the "safe boot" method which worked for Saint Row IV and manage to play. Unfortunately I've tried the same tactic for Batman Origins without success. That's the last thing I've tried.
If futhur information is needed, just ask and I'll do my best to give the requested details.
Thanks for any help provided

Here's what I got :
Should I uninstall the version I have first ?
[Edit] This link points out to the version 9.29.1974 dated of 4/18/2011
Whoops, that's outdated.
Try this: http://www.tomsguide.com/us/download/DirectX,0301-2158....
And a reinstallation should overwrite your previous version.

The link you provided doesn't seem to point to much.
On another note, going on wikipedia, there's no update to DirectX 11 for windows 7 since 2011.
11.1 and 11.2 seems to be only for Windows 8

Ok, don't trust me as a resource anymore lol, but I am certain that it is a DirectX driver issue. Sorry about that!
