Hello I am looking to get a gpu for my Dell optiplexx 755(MT) with:
core 2 duo 2.6ghz
4gb ram
nividia gt 610
600W power supply

I am aware this is not a gaming pc but i can run alot of games on low medium setting's and I want a more beefy car to make it better. usually people use low profile cards with the 755 MT but a gtx 750 is short and I read on here that someone managed to make it fit. but game no details.
My question is if there is anyone who has or had this computer with a gtx 750 or 650. and what card has 2gb,ddr5, core clock min. 1000, and memory clock of 5000 that is sold on amazon or ebay.

Afraid not. There's not a L-P card that can touch the specs of the GTX 750 Ti. And Galaxy is the only manufacturer I know of that has produced one. I had that card in a budget build I recently built with an i3-4150. Amazing what it can do being so small.
Your only other choice is the slower HD 7750 or R7-250. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709%20600473873%20600298541%20600038363%20600038364%20600007797&IsNodeId=1&name=GDDR5

I have another Galaxy GTX 750 Ti that I may be putting on ebay next week. It's used but in good condition.

Thanks you have been helpful, I will keep that in mine.

I found pci ecpress extender cables on amazon for 6 dollars with mixed reviews, I figured ill try it with my existing pci express card and if it works move on from there.

Can you link me to the extender you have in mind?

I've never seen one of those before. Didn't even know they made such a thing. I was aware of daughter cards, but not those. If you have a good spot to lay a normal sized GTX 750 Ti, it may be do-able. Let me know if and how it works for you please. What GTX 760 Ti are you planning on using with it?

I had that card too... in an Bitfenix Prodigy HTPC build I sold a while ago. Great card. Unbelievable what Nvidia has managed to do without a 6 pin cable. Same performance as the GTX 650 Ti Boost.

I eneded up getting the XFX R7 260X with this adapter http://www.amazon.com/PCIE-Powered-Flexible-Extender-Bitcoin/dp/B00GUKRX6S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1405018494&sr=8-3&keywords=pci+express+riser

and it works, I have the card laying on the bottom of the case lined with electrical tape.

Great. Let us know how it works after you've had it in service and gaming for awhile. The extra +12V supply is a good idea. The other extenders didn't have that and everyone complained that they had issues. If it doesn't cause you any problems, I might pick one up for L-P HTPC case I have laying around.

The 260X should be on a par with the GTX 750 Ti depending on the game: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1130?vs=1044
