Program used at work only runs in 32-bit windows operating systems.
Where do you even shop for a 32-bit computer?
Side question: does it matter if instead I purchase a 64-bit machine, and then install 32-bit OS instead of 64? Is it only the OS version that matters or does the hardware have to be 32-bit as well? I know that's a stupid question, but idk.
It's an old 16-bit program I have to use. That's why need a 32-bit machine- 32 runs 16-bit programs, but 64 doesn't. It's not the type of 'program' you install with an installer, rather it's just more like a database you run with a .exe file inside the folder. If that makes sense.
